Terms of Service

1. Who we are
Dreamcore (the "app") is operated by [full name / company name, address] ("we", "us"). These terms govern your use of the app and its related services. By creating an account you agree to them.
2. The service
Dreamcore is a dream journal: you can capture dreams as text or voice recordings, request AI-generated interpretations, images, and reports, view personal analytics, read articles in the knowledge hub, and optionally share dreams with people who follow you. Some features require a paid subscription (see section 6).
3. Your account
You must be at least 16 years old to use Dreamcore. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account and sign-in providers secure. You may delete your account at any time in the app's settings.
4. Your content
Your dreams and everything you create in the app remain yours. You grant us the non-exclusive right to store, process, and display this content solely to operate the service — including sending dream text to our AI provider when you request an AI feature. If you share a dream to the feed, you grant other users the right to view it within the app. You can stop sharing or delete content at any time.
5. Acceptable use
When using social features you agree not to post content that:
- is unlawful, harassing, hateful, or threatens others,
- infringes third-party rights (including privacy — don't publish identifying details about others without their consent),
- is spam or commercial solicitation.
We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. You can report content and block users in the app.
6. Subscriptions
Paid tiers are sold as auto-renewing subscriptions through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Prices and billing periods are shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you manage and cancel them in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Statutory withdrawal rights for consumers in the EU are handled through the respective store.
7. AI features — no professional advice
AI interpretations, images, and reports are generated automatically and are for reflection and entertainment. They are not medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice, and may be inaccurate. If you are struggling with your mental health, please seek professional help.
8. Availability and changes
We provide the app with reasonable care but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may change, add, or discontinue features; if we discontinue the service or materially reduce paid features, we will give reasonable advance notice.
9. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body, or health. For slight negligence we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual obligations, limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract. Liability under mandatory law (e.g. product liability) remains unaffected.
10. Final provisions
These terms are governed by German law; if you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected. If a provision of these terms is invalid, the remainder stays in effect. We may update these terms for good cause (e.g. legal changes, new features); we will notify you of material changes in the app before they take effect.
The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
